Method Detail

findSensor

ISensorModule<?> findSensor(String uid)

Helper method to find a sensor by its global UID (instead of its localID)

Parameters:

uid - global unique identifier of sensor (= SensorML UID)

Returns:

sensor module instance

getConnectedSensors

Collection<ISensorModule<?>> getConnectedSensors()

Helper method to get the list of connected sensors only

Returns:

the list of sensors actually connected to the system

installDriver

String installDriver(String driverPackageURL,
                   boolean replace)

Installs a driver package (jar file) from the specified URL

Parameters:

driverPackageURL - URL of jar containing implementation of new driver

replace - if true, an older version of the same driver will be replaced

Returns:

automatically assigned driver ID

uninstallDriver

void uninstallDriver(String driverID)

Uninstalls the driver with the specified ID

Parameters:

driverID -

getInstalledSensorDrivers

Collection<IModuleProvider> getInstalledSensorDrivers()

Returns:

the list of all sensor drivers installed on the system
